Jing Zhi at Playschool

Today is JZ's second day at school. He is going to the same school as his brother.

Yesterday was 31 December 2007 and happened to fall on a monday and it was his first day at school. Mummy went through his first full session of 2hours with him. He only cried when all the kids had to assemble and stood alert for "negaraku" ( national anthem). Guessed, he must have hated the song.. same like his daddy. I dun understand the rationale of having 3 yr olds kids standing alert for a song.. that means nothing to them. anyway that's political so i shall stay away from that.

And the end of the first session, the Principal , Madam Kong said Jz can do the tomorrow's session alone. So the next day, we sent him off to playschool today at 830am. We have been conditioning him since a week ago to prepare for his first day alone. It's time to see if the methods hold up to the challenge.

As we drove up to his school, Ms Loong was at the gate as usual . She opened the car door and wished " good morning, Jing Zhi".. took JZ out from the front seat and we said " bye bye,, we will come back later at 10.30..ok"

We could see he was holding back his tears and .... along with his breaths..anyway after saying our good byes. we drove off and did a turn down the road backward to the playschool to see if he was doing ok. We saw a teacher was carrying him so he must have cried.

Mummy called the school half an hour later and Ms Loong said he was doing fine. Not bad..we thought.

Later, we went early to his playschool and peeped through the windows at the school and saw him in the class.

After a shortwhile , he spotted his brother standing outside the grill.
